Mike’s Work Experience Bio

I am Mike Veurink and I have been doing construction work since I was sixteen. I started in residential construction and spent ten years building new residential homes. I found great joy in constructing homes for people. While working full- time, I also attended Baker College. In 2003 I received my Associates Degree in the Applied Science of Construction Technology. When the economy was in a recession, the residential company I worked for closed down, and I switched to work in commercial construction. While doing this, I learned to be a jack-of-all-trades in demo work, building, remodeling, hardware, and more. I have also worked in facilities management, overseeing utilities, being the first line of repair, and working on remodels and expansions. I have also built storage spaces, updated bedrooms, finished basements, and added bathrooms in my personal homes.

Steve and I have been friends for 13 years. We enjoy working together and see opportunity in combining our skillsets to serve others. We love to build, to fix things, to problem solve, and to laugh together. We look forward to consulting with you to help you solve your home maintenance problems and to dream about possible improvements to your home.

Steve’s Work Experience Bio

My name is Steve Bosma, and I have over 25 years of construction and maintenance experience. Beginning as a teenager, I spent some time painting and cutting concrete. In December of 1997 I began plumbing, receiving my Journey Plumbers license in July of 2001. I have extensive experience in new residential, remodel, commercial, and service plumbing. I’ve maintained my license to this day. I have also done numerous maintenance and remodel projects for friends and family in my spare time. For the past ten years, I have managed facilities and maintenance for non-profit organizations, on their residential and commercial properties. I assisted with and oversaw several construction projects during this time.

Mike and I have talked for years about working together in construction, but it was always more of a dream. The timing and necessary funds didn’t make it a reality. Then, with the government stimulus, we decided to plant this company and see if it would grow. We exist for the sole purpose of using our gifts and talents of working with our hands, to provide others with the help they need to accomplish things outside of their ability. We give back a portion of our profits to non-profit organizations, so when you use us, you can know that you are benefiting the community, and world, as well
